Holiday Card Program

For the past several years, my artwork has been utilized for various fundraising programs at the hospital.  In 2021 and 2022, my artwork was selected and sponsored by a local area law firm as part of the the Children's Hospital Holiday Card Program.

As stated by the organizer of the program, "Elizabeth has played a significant part in our project's success over the past two years, which has netted $139,500 for the hospital. This is quite an accomplishment!"

Greeting Cards

In addition to the Holiday Card Program, I have also provided artwork that is used on various greeting, birthday and thank you cards that are sold in the hospital gift shop on a regular basis.

Burn Camp

As the Ambassador for the Burn Unit, I raised over $5,000 for the Burn Camp Program. Burn Camps support burn survivors in their recovery and connect them with other survivors so they know they're not alone. In addition, I gave speeches to local organizations to support the hospital in raising funds.

Awards

I have received two large awards in recognition for my volunteer work and resilience and wanted to highlight them here.

Children's Hospital
Junior Volunteer of the Year 2023

This year I was awarded the Junior Volunteer of the year award for going above and beyond in my volunteer positions at Children's Hospital Colorado.

Boulder Country DayCourage Award 2020

I was very honored to be presented with the Bulldog Courage award by the leadership team at my middle school. The Courage Award is given once a year to "a member of the BCD community who exhibits strength in the fact of adversity, carrying themselves with grace and dignity even in the most challenging circumstances."  The award description states that "award winners embody and uphold the motto of Boulder Country Day School - Respect Yourself, Respect Others, Take Responsibility for your Actions - inspiring the school and its community through their thoughts, words and deeds."
