Leadership Roles
Working to Make a Difference
I have been fortunate to serve in a variety of leadership roles to help make a difference in my community. Here are some highlights of my leadership positions over the past several years.
Highlights
March 2024
Patient Representative
I was nominated and selected to serve as the patient representative for the hospital's Family Advocacy Day at the Capital in Denver. We met with lawmakers to strengthen the hospital's voice for patients.

Junior Volunteer Association Board
This year, I was nominated and selected as a Board Member for Children's Hospital's Junior Board of Volunteers. In this role, I help oversee volunteers and advise on improvements that can be made to the hospital's volunteer program.

Youth Advisory
Council Chair
Youth Advisory Council is a group of teens who have been patients or are siblings of patients at Children's Hospital Colorado. Our goal is to create a better environment for pediatric patients throughout their time at Children's Hospital Colorado. As Chair, I organize the meetings, keep the committee members involved, take notes of the meetings, and communicate with hospital leaders about our plans and progress.

Art Resource Committee
As the only student member of Children's Hospital's
Art Resource Committee, I advise on the aesthetic appeal of the hospital. Our work involves reviewing donated artwork and selecting the winning pieces for the hospital. This photo is an example of the type of artwork that we review.
2019-2021
Children's Hospital Ambassador
As the Ambassador to the Burn Unit, I raised over $5,000 for the Burn Camp Program. In addition, I gave speeches at local area events, made video presentations during Covid restrictions, supported other patients in their recovery and implemented special projects to support the Burn Team. Here I am pictured at Costco with the Children's Hospital Philanthropy Director after a speech for the hospital.
Summer 2023- Present
Team Captain Varsity All Star Cheerleading
I was selected by my coaches to serve as the captain of my Varsity All Star Cheerleading Team. As captain, I have been asked to organize my teammates, communicate with coaches and establish a culture of positivity and hard work.
2020-2021
Student Council
I was selected to serve as a member of Niwot High School student Council. Working on the student council, I helped plan events such as our dances and our haunted house during Halloween. In addition, I helped raise funds to plan these events and supported Wish Week through implementing community service projects.
